Fascinating Life Of Reptiles

Reptiles are fascinating creatures with variety of unique characteristics that make them both interesting and amusing. Here are some of  the most amusing things about reptiles.

Fascinating tongues

Reptiles have some pretty impressive tongues! Snakes, use their forked tongues to gather scent  particles from the air. Chameleons and frogs have long sticky tongues used to catch insects, giving them a unique way of '' smelling'' their surroundings. Watching  snake flick its tongue in and out as it explores its environment can be both mesmerizing and amusing.

Brilliant Disguises

Reptiles are perfect at disguising themselves for example owls, stick insects, snow leopard and spiders. They camouflage themselves for protection and to blend into the environment. Their ability to camouflage can be both amusing and impressive.

Crawling Mischief

The way reptiles move can be quite interesting to the human eye. From the slithering of a snake, to the amusing crawl of a tortoise, crocodiles and alligators have a great way of moving from one place to another.

Chameleons change their colours. They protect themselves by changing their colours. I love the chameloens. Snakes lay vey many eggs and protect themselves using poison.
