we are 11 yrs old and we study at Grand Maria School, Nabbingo.
You can maintain your blood pressure by doing enough exercises like running ,doing sit ups etc. but if you do not do enough exercise, it can make your heart weak.
Feeling stressed out can make your blood pressure rise. If you are always stressed, it can lead to long term high blood pressure.
If your parents or relatives have hypertension, you might have a higher chance of getting it too.
If you have a lot of fat, your heart, works harder, leading to hypertension.
Find ways to relax ,like deep inhaling or spending time with family ,relatives and . it is okay have some fun.
If a doctor gives you medicine for hypertension, take it exactly as they tell you.
Eat lots of fruits, greens and lean meats. Try to avoid bad food stuffs.
Play outside, ride your bike , swim ,or join a sport team . Try to be active at least for 30 minutes a day.
Use good ways to control stress e.g. communicating to the right friends or doing deep breathing.
Eat a variety of healthy foods, including lots of fruits and greens. Don’t eat too much sugar and unhealthy fats.
Try to eat less salty foods and snacks. Check the food title to find content talking about the salt contained in the product.
Don’t go to places where people are smoking .If you’re the right age to smoke, be careful not to smoke too much. AVOID SMOKING, if you are already doing so try to quit.
Eating healthy food and exercising will help you to maintain a reasonable body weight.
